Komiks.dk is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to spreading awareness of comics, both as a media and a cultural phenomenon. We’re working at establishing cultural happenings, which give the general public a way to see what the colourful world of comics has to offer, ranging from literary works to pure fun and entertainment. The central focus for all the activities of Komiks.dk is the biannually comics festival. The purpose of this festival is to create a forum where interested parties, can get exposed to as much as possible from comics, regardless of who they are and what background they have. All work done in Komiks.dk is done by volunteers and is non-paid. Therefore all the volunteers working on making Komiks.dk happen, has a passion for the media of comics.
